About the Phil Burgan Race Academy
PBRA founder Phil Burgan has always had a strong involvement in motorsport. After retiring from his own racing career at the end of 2006, Phil contacted leading motorcycle industry marketing agency RBP for advice and guidance on investing in two-wheel racing.
Together, Phil and RBP created the Phil Burgan Race Academy (PBRA) - a programme for developing British talent in motorcycle sport. The aim of the sponsorship programme is to provide financial support to young motorcycle racers who demonstrate the skills required to be future world championship contenders.
PBRA also provides sponsorship for established British motorcycle racers who are able to pass the benefit of their experience on to the younger riders in the programme.
